Co-Founder and Director

Mat has over 20 years experience in software development and systems management and wide-ranging expertise leading the planning, design, deployment, and commercialization of software products and solutions, most recently as acting VP Technology at Volantis Systems. He was a key member of the Volantis team since its very early days, as development team leader on the prototype product.

He also spent several years as Director of Support running the company's global support and device teams.

Prior to Volantis, Mat was Director of Engineering at Swapmaster

With a passion for delivering solutions that meet real needs, Ian seeks to provide environments in which ambitious projects can succeed and enthusiastic team members can excel. He believes in facing the challenge, losing the ego and building trust and respect through demonstrated ability and honesty.

The last 6 years at Volantis Ian worked with telco and content providers around the globe, from Tokyo to Seattle to China, building an extensive and proven experience in the delivery of optimised mobile and content delivery platforms.

Ian is a certified dotMobi web developer.

Ian Walsh

Solution Architect

Prior to joining bemoko, Ian was a Senior Architect at Volantis accountable for the delivery of multi-channel solutions to mobile network carriers and content providers using the Volantis suite of Mobile Content Applications.

Using his strong knowledge of mobile technologies, Ian provided architectural leadership for solution delivery to network operators across Europe.

Ian has deployed mobile solutions to network operators in South Africa, France, Spain, Dubai, USA, China and Hong Kong.

Tim Avery

Co-Founder and Director

Tim brings more than 18 years experience in technology and management to bemoko. An early entrant into internet based technologies when working in partnership with the Open University in the early 1990's. Subsequently responsible for delivering cutting edge consultancy projects to a number of Operators, Media and Fortune 500 clients around the world.

For the last 6 years Tim has been focused solely on delivering mobile internet solutions for Telco's, Financial Institutions and Content Providers and is now immensely proud to be joining the highly talented bemoko team.
